Planning Process
We provide quotations from plans and energy statements / SAP reports including a scaled model confirming panel locations. We create a 3D model of your development from the plans that you provide us, ensuring everything is exactly to scale.
We do this so we can guarantee that we can install the amount of panels that we say we can and so that you can see where the panels will fit and how they will look, as well as being compliant with MCS satisfying your SAP requirements.
Next step after an order is placed we will carry out an insured structural and wind uplift survey where necessary and arrange a site visit from your dedicated project manager.
Installation Process
Installation can be done in as many visits as required. 2 visits per plot are typically account for:
1st fix: We fit the panels as soon as the roof is ready allowing you to strike scaffolding without delay. We may also run cables at this time.
2nd fix: Once you have the consumer installed and power to it, we return to install the inverter, connect and commission the system.
Following commissioning your system is being registered and an MCS certificate will be produced, this is the essential document which is to be passed on to your SAP assessor and planning consultant.
